There are many people who contribute to the success of the Mohawks program. Every season the team hires a dedicated staff who make the baseball experience for young and old an enjoyable one. Whether someone is a an avid baseball fan or someone attending their first game, Shuttleworth Park is the most fan friendly stadium in the PGCBL thanks to the people who make it possible. The host families, Rally Squad, sponsors, ticket takers, program sellers, concessionaires, stat keepers, the guys putting out the web-cast, photographers, announcers, and broadcasters all make the baseball experience something to remember.
Every season the interns led by Amsterdam’s own master of fun, Barry Rouse, make sure the kids always have a good time. And of course the fans get to meet the Mohawks mascot Mojo, who thanked the Mohawks for their efforts during the end of the game team meeting. Amsterdam has something to be proud of with it’s PGCBL team, the Mohawks.
“The organization, the fans, the host families, trainer Carla Pasquarelli, the things they do here is amazing,” Coach Griffin said. “This is summer league baseball.”
