Chad Majewski recently announced his candidacy for the the position of Third Ward Alderman in the City of Amsterdam.
According to his campaign website, Majewski is curently the Vice President of Sales at Noteworthy. He is also on the board of directors for Catholic Charities of Fulton and Montgomery Counties, and a member of the Amsterdam Elk Lodge #101.
In regards to his job experience, Majewski said, “My current position involves travel allowing me to promote Amsterdam on a regular basis. Traveling into smaller towns and cities has enlightened me to what other communities are doing and what needs to be done here in Amsterdam.”
In his press release, he also stated, “As a lifelong resident I care deeply and passionately about my community. I want to do all I can to contribute to preserving all that’s great about Amsterdam making it a better place to live, work and raise a family.”
On his website, Majewski cites his work to renovate his home in the Third Ward and other volunteer efforts in the community. He describes himself as “a candidate who’s ready to listen, offer fresh ideas and new opinions. A candidate that will not embarrass our city any further, but will help it grow into the city we are proud to call home.”
