The Wishful Thinking Foundation held its first annual “Sneak Peek” event on Saturday, May, 10 at the Amsterdam Riverfront Center. The event featured vendors, raffles to win pairs of the newest athletic footwear, music, food, and games. Wishful Thinking also held registration for its Summer Basketball Program for middle school and high school age children. Organizers of the event said activity was steady throughout the day with the most participation coming in the first hours. Proceeds from the event will benefit Wishful Thinking and its programs. The non profit organization recently began a Homework Club and is working toward building a recreation center.
