- Mayor Ann Thane announced yesterday that her proposed budget for 2014-2015 is complete and will be submitted to the city clerk today. According to Thane, the budget is balanced and keeps property tax increases below the 2% cap.
- The next chapter in the dispute between Mayor Ann Thane and the five city aldermen over a contract for golf pro Joe Merendo will unfold at 9 a.m. Wednesday in State Supreme Court. Judge Joseph M. Sise said he set the date after conferring with both attorneys, Paul Goldman for Thane and Michael Brockbank for the aldermen.
